Mr. Dall’Ava has performed over 21 leading roles in the Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire and directed as many. He will direct and M.C. this evening of G&S highlights and play the judge in the hilarious one act operetta, Trial by Jury.

The versatile soprano Diana McVey is well-known for her consummate skills as a singer and actress. Her opera roles include Violetta, Musetta, Despina, Konstanze, Olympia, Gretel, Adalgisa and world premieres of Calla in Air and Anna in The Picnic. Additionally, she has sung Mabel, Casilda, Elsie and Beatrice in the operetta repertoire. Her extensive oratorio repertoire includes Honegger’s King David, Poulenc’s Gloria, Mozart’s Mass in c minor, Requiem and Coronation Mass, Vivaldi’s Gloria and Bach’s Magnificat. The spring of 2007, she will perform the Strauss Four Last Songs and the Brahms Requiem with the Rhode Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra.
